One is a half elf, the other is a moon elf. Both are Shadow Adepts that found the shadow weave without Shar's approval.

Novel-wise, who do you think is the better character?

I agree. I feel Aeron Morieth was more fleshed out than Galaeron, but I did really like Galaeron a lot. I am surprised we don't hear anything more of those two, considering Shar doesn't really like good aligned creatures having control and possibly master of her Shadow Weave.
