This effect occurs automatically as soon as it applies, last until it runs out or is no longer needed, and can operate multiple times per day (up to the total daily limit of rounds). This granted power is a supernatural ability.

The decay domain already exists. It's in the Eberron Campaign Setting.

FINALLY got internet back up and running after a while without it. Also got more of a chance to glance over much of the material I've made in what little free time I had for a while. For those who didn't know, my grandmother passed away back in March. She had dementia was highly dependent on my family, myself in particular, for round-the-clock care. Apparently, she also had heart failure which claimed her life around 1 AM EST on March 24 after a bout of what appeared to be pneumonia. At least now she is finally at peace. We also have a new dog now, who is a rescue and cannot be trusted being left alone for extended periods of time, so my free time is quite as free as it was, sadly.

Now, one of these domains here (the Cruelty domain) plays very close to my heart because of a sad admission I was forced to make recently. I myself was actually for a time the victim of an abusive relationship, from July 2011 to early April 2012. My most recent girlfriend inadvertently was using me and over time because increasingly verbally abusive to me in a manner that I can only describe as highly demeaning and inhuman. I left her shortly before my brother's own wedding because I had enough of her mistreatment of me and a tragic event of manipulation she had planned which I foiled before she could have completed. So here we go.

You must succeed on a melee touch attack against a living creature (using the rules for touch spells). When you touch, roll 1d6 per cleric level you possess. If the total at least equals the creature's current hit points, it dies (no save).

Honestly, I couldn't find much better spells on my list for said domain, so I decided to add monsters that have more than one pair of arms because it seemed like the best flavor, at that rate.

I think Hoar could grant the Justice domain. For the isolation domain, +2 on skills checks is a bit weak IMO, maybe a +1 on ALL checks would be more interesting. Not to mention that it will probably be of small use for adventuring PCs, who are in groups more often than not.

Here's a recent idea I had, seeing how some deities - and their followers - hold themselves aloof, sometimes even to each other. If you ask me, though, the domain power as well as the 2nd- and 3rd-level spells are a little shaky, especially the aforementioned spells. Overall, though, I was looking for a feel of a domain for people who prefer to be alone, and work alone.


Isolation Domain
Deities: Cyric, Fenmarel Mestarine, Ghaunadaur, Laogzed
Domain Power: You gain a +2 divine bonus on all skill checks when by yourself.
Domain Spells:
1st – Sanctuary
2nd – Find Traps
3rd – Nondetection
4th – Dimension Door

Here's more I've created during the last amount of months. Been REALLY busy as of late.


Trade Domain (Homebrew)
Deities: Abbathor, Nepthys, Shaundakul, Vergadain, Waukeen
Domain Power: You may use Detect Thoughts as a spell like ability once per day. Activating this is a free action, and it affects one target. This effect lasts for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma bonus (minimum 1 round).
Add Appraise, Forgery and Sense Motive to your list of class skills.
Domain Spells:
1st – Appraising Touch (SC)
2nd – Gembomb (PGtF)
3rd – Eagle’s Splendor
4th – Sending

I've a few concerns for the Peace domain. First, wouldn't Sanctuary be a better domain spell for 1st level? Closing one off so that they cannot be attacked seems more peaceful than Hypnotizing your opponents.

Second, I'm not entirly sure gaining proficiency with weapons (even non-leathal ones) is all that Peaceful. How about this for a Domain Power:

Granted Domain Power: Once per day you may grant you and any ally within 30 ft. the ability to deal non-lethal damage with their melee and ranged attacks for a number of minutes equal to your cleric level. You gain another use of this ability every 2 cleric levels after 1st (3rd, 5th, 7th, and so on).

What this does is allow your allies to subdue any opponent without killing them and your allies wouldn't have to take a penalty to attacks or spending feats to do so. I think the power has a broader range of options for flaovr and crunch rather than a simple proficiency with a weapon.

Our party's oracle has that spell, Cleanse of Alcohol.

No such luck finding it as of yet, or at least a 3.5 version of the spell. The spell appears to have at least originated in Demihuman Deities.

Agh! Had to change YET ANOTHER domain name. This time, it was the Pestilence domain, which I changed to Plague. Still in the same spot, but the name's different in light of that.
