Anyone have any insight as to what is going on in Calimshan after the Second Sundering? I'm looking to perhaps write a little something and start an adventure there and want to stick closely to canon.

SCAG says that after 4E brought back the genies to enslave the land again, the slave caste led by a champion of Ilmater overthrew the genie lords of Calimport and Memnnon, casting them back to the elemental planes or the deserts. So, like much of the Realms, things are more or less back to their 2E/3E state, but with a twist. Ilmater is presumably much more prominent, genasi appear to make up some sizable minority, and the like.
