Guess Shar has finally made the big leagues in the real world.

Of course Umberlee beat her to getting a name on a species by a few years.

I eagerly await the introduction of genetically-engineered species named after Gruumsh, Talos, Malar, Tiamat, and Asmodeus.

And I fear the day genetically-engineered ("demihuman"?) species are named after Corellon, Moradin, Lolth, and Gygax.

Well, considering how many years it took her to actually accomplish anything against Mystra, a snail is apt.

But they should have named it after Ghaunadaur.

It says in the article that the snail lives in caverns, which makes Shar (or Ibrandul, who Shar killed and replaced) an obvious choice.

It says the same group also named a snail that lives deep in the Atlantic after Umberlee.
