So, here's an interesting question that recently popped up:

Is there any form of standardized schooling or a sort of obligation for the wizards within Cormyr for the next generation of wizards, beyond the private contracts mentioned in the FRCS?

There is nothing like this that I am aware of. You have to register with the authorities when you reach a certain level of power, but that is about it.

Now if you become a Wizard of War there is some standard training. A school near Espar, if I recall correctly.
