I'm running a campaing set in 1375 CV.
Reading the Player's Guide to Faerun (3.5), I found Divine Champions (PrC) of Mystra can choose followers of Helm as their favored foes, along with those of Bane, Cyric and Shar (page 50). Divine Champions of Helm cannot do the same (their list includes only Bane, Cyric, Malar, Talos).
Neither Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting nor Faiths and Pantheons state Mystra considers Helm among her enemies.
Is anyone able to explain the reasons for this? Maybe it's a consequence of the Time of Troubles? Should Mystra's Church be considered at odds with Helm's Church since then? |

Definitely would have to do with the Time of Troubles when Helm attacked and destroyed Mystra's avatar and prevented her from ascending the celestial staircase. Even if the goddess herself bears no ill will, her followers probably carry a grudge? Heh. |
