More sad news.

Professor Muhammad Abd-al-Rahman (MAR) Barker, creator of Tekumel has passed away. RIP.

The ranks of the hobbies pioneers are thinning.

I was just thinking about getting into this setting. Now I simply must see what I've been missing.

-Never heard of him before.

-His setting sounds interesting, and really, if you look at things in the sense that Gary Gygax was very "miniature warfare games"-first and "fantasy world"-second, Mr. Barker is almost like the godfather of D&D settings.

Aye indeed Jorkens, a pioneer of RPG's indeed and another great loss to the wider community.

Best wishes to his family and friends

Damian
