Alusair Obarskyr was born 1335DR, which is the same year as 1310CR. Year 1CR (Cormyr Reckoning) is based on the founding of the House Obarskyr dynasty, starting in the winter of 26DR (Dale Reckoning). Realmslore itself has frequently commented on these similar calendar systems causing learned sages no end of frustration.
The Old Grey Box is the 1E FR0: Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting box set. |

Posted - 11 Jan 2012 : 23:11:00 Well, was Alusair 23 or 48 during the Tuigan Horde campaign? When she assumed the Regency of Cormyr, was she 37 or 62 years old?
(I know some boys in my campaign who will be quite embarrassed to have said some of the things they said up on a Stonelands patrol... if the woman they said it to was old enough to be their grandmother! ) |
