Ok...I have two references for this nation which once existed in the modern lands of "The Ride":
1) A reference in the Pool of Radiance Computer Game concerning Tyranthraxus and the fall of Barze...could I get a verification of that reference from someone that owns the game or has verifiable lore pertaining to that reference?
2) A new map, post-spellplague, for the Kingdom of Vaasa. This map places the "Fallen Kingdom of Barze" just north of Thar between the West Galena Mountains (in the east) and the Vercy Wood (in the west).
What, if anything, does anyone know concerning the Kingdom of Barze?
For that matter...I'd NEVER seen the "Vercy Wood" until looking at that map either! Anyone know anything about that either? |

the in game references occurs during the Mendor’s Library quest and the game refers to PRJ #21 |

A map of course! I love maps...and a map coming from an article written by Brian R. James concerning Vaasa includes upon it the "Fallen Kingdom of Barze".
It made me remember a reference by someone else of the Pool of Radiance...and viola!
I was interested in more than just Barze of course...but of the advanced human civilization that created the Citadel of the Raven and such...
Alas...Barze was NOT the kingdom that founded the Citadel. |

Ok...some information about the Kingdom of Barze:
Founded by the Netherese Arcanist named Barze.
Existed c. -456 DR to -351 DR (destroyed by Tyranthraxus and the Twisted Ones).
Anyone else want to chat about this? |
