Was playing EOB3 lately and was wondering if anyone knew anything about the main bad guy, who is allegedly responsible for the current state of Myth Drannor. He's referred to only as the "Dark God" by Lathander, but as far as I know, he has no other name.

Moander is mentioned briefly by the Saurial NPC, so could Moander be this character? Or could he be Jubilex who is also known as the "Dark God"

Anyone got any ideas?

In Candlekeep, where threads are preserved scrolls, not ephemeral jottings, I don't believe it is. (Or get why it would be anywhere else, in fact.)

Could be Moander, but the Dark God in the game is accompanied by undead creatures mostly (shadow creatures, death knights, etc.), and perhaps he could of have been an avatar of Velsharoon or similar deity (such as Myrkul)... ?

In any event, the evil deity traditionally called "The Dark God" (as a title) in D&D is Tharizdun. Considering in EOB III the goal was to prevent it from getting into the Realms, Tharizdun is a safe bet.

Moander is a god, but, he is officialy not called the "Dark God". Lathander is an enemy of Moander ...
