I'm looking for well done offerings for 5e in say the last year. I really prefer the big ones that focus on giving a lot of material and crunch. Anyone have any particular favorites that seem pretty well balanced, etc..?

I just finished the Border Kingdoms book, myself.

I don't get a lot of stuff from the DM's guild because I'm more interested in straight lore or in things that give me creative inspiration -- a "kewl class #49" or "slight variation on existing play options #237" type of offering may appeal to some, but I'd rather have a couple of interesting NPCs or a list of tavern drinks that's more creative than "dragon's breath beer".

I'd say the Border Kingdoms setting guide comes to mind, written by Ed.

I don't buy much DMSGUIDE stuff because it's not official, with a few exceptions.
