Hello everyone!

I'm an on-and-off D&D player, most recently in 5e. I frequently end up on this site when searching for information to flesh out character backstories and details, so I thought I'd go ahead and register.

As far as those sorts of things go, what's the best subforum for help with character concepts?

I've recently been putting together a Half-Elf Paladin, and somewhere along the line I got the idea that he's the son of a Caravan driver/trader who cuts across the south of the Anauroch (likely using the Zhentarim routes I guess?) I really like the idea of throwing a desert aesthetic into what's normally a medieval European mix of characters. Plus it means I can call up a camel when I cast Find Steed.
