What's the state of Thay, following the Sundering? Are we told whether it's populated with undead/living, whether there's a new form of government or a new set of Zulkirs, or anything of that sort?
Writing up some notes to serve as my own 5e FRCG, and I'm not sure how much rebuilding is left to do.

Well, this is a little late, but since I stumbled on this...
Tyranny of Dragons' conclusion establishes that Tam's definitely still around, and still in charge. IIRC he also has at least some living servants; there was a Tharchion who got sent out as an ambassador to the Council of Waterdeep. On that principle, he's seemingly starting to get a bit more invested in the wider Realms. |
