I know that one of the books of the Brotherhood of the Griffon series is rather difficult to find, at least at a decent price...

So if you're looking for The Spectral Blaze, you may want to jump on this eBay listing pretty quickly.

Note: Not my auction, and I don't know the seller. Just wanting to make sure that someone who wants the book can get it.

I'm more inclined to think they are just greedy. There's someone I've seen on eBay trying to sell the Double Diamond Triangle Saga books for $250. They keep not selling, and I've personally emailed the guy to say I've seen them go as low as $30, but he keeps trying.

I've also seen someone decide that since his Project A-ko pencil board wasn't selling for $250, maybe he needed to try selling it for $300.

And I once encountered someone willing to throw something away and not make any money at all, rather than make an amount lower than his arbitrary price. It started as an auction that I forgot to bid on, for a single magazine, and then the guy, rather than relist the magazine, offered to sell it to me directly -- for 4 times the original asking price. I negotiated him down to merely 3 times the original price, and he wouldn't budge past that. He may have been bluffing when he said he would throw it away rather than take less money... But he missed out, either way, because I gave up and eventually bought it from someone else.

When I had to replace my lost FR novels, for some odd reason, the Rogue Dragons trilogy was a pain to find.

And for game material, The Dungeon of Death was hard to find -- at least until I finally got a copy, at which point it seemed to become overly common.

Realms of War is another realms book that is extremely difficult to find for a reasonable price and in good condition.

Well, I don't know if it was someone here or not, but that auction didn't last.
