Does anyone know of a prestige class that allows someone to progress as BOTH a Wizard and Sorcerer at the same time?

Kind of like Mystic Theurge; but for wizard and sorcerer instead of arcane/divine.

But it's dangerous with only a quarter-inch wick...

With a wick that short, it could go off before you're ready for it to!

I also remember seeing the Ultimate Magus is a build centered around the War Weaver Prestige class which can become pretty damn powerful.

It's interesting, and in the 3.x campaign I'm currently a player in, I've got a half-faerie dragon PC who just got their first level in it. Yeah the character is by no means "optimized" mechanically speaking, much to the consternation of one of the other players in the group, but it's just so freaking cool and fit with the character history and personality that I couldn't pass it up.

Enjoy it if you use it for a character. :)

A half-faerie dragon? How in the name of Lurue is that possible?

That's been asked in-character by the other PCs with much the same tone. *laugh* And it's an open question still, we know the father was the faerie dragon, but we don't have a clue what the mother was, though there does appear to be elf or half-elf in the mix.

I assume some flavor of polymorph or shapechange was involved. ;)

For some reason Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series keeps coming to mind. The half sidhe-half pixie, the demi-fey who tries to seduce the princess...and the impaled, and dying no less, demi-fey who succeeds!
